Valentine's recap:
Jasmine and Pearl spent a day decorating a heart-shaped valentine's day card for their Daddy. They both enjoyed it very much, especially Jasmine. Jasmine also helped decorate the dining table, although it was easy for her to get side-tracked as she has difficulty resist eating the chocolate hearts she was to lay on the table top. Still, she persisted and left us ample chocolates for us to enjoy.
At the moment, Jasmine and the rest of us are preparing to return back to our hometown. It has been hectic and trying time. We needed to ask for all their medical records, and in certain instances we had to continuously follow-up with phone calls after phone call. With persistence we are able to obtain Jasmine's and Pearl's development charts and notes from the Consultatiebureau -- although they cooperated and sent the records to us without any follow-up. Today, is the first time we got to see a third person's assessment of Jasmine's and Pearl's development.
According to the score sheets they were quizzed in the following areas:
- Fine Motor Skills/ Social Emotional Assessment/Learning Personal Skills/Personality
- Communication
- Gross Motor Skills
Jasmine exceeded their expectations and passed the 3 years old boundary for all of the above tests.
As for Pearl, she meet all their expectations for a baby of her age level. The test sheet did not indicate that they tried to test her beyond her age limit. The results from the Consultatiebureau does reassure me and I can sleep better knowing that they both are doing well.
In this series are pictures of Jasmine and Pearl celebrating their first Valentine's day and spending time with each other.
